About Zomy Kedi

I am ZOMY KEDI, a Nigerian architect and author passionate about stories of identity, family, inheritance, silence, belonging, and becoming.
As an architect, I understand the power of structure. I bring that same instinct to my fiction, building stories around layered characters, emotional tension, cultural memory, and the truths people often leave unspoken. My stories are rooted in Nigerian life and explore the choices, secrets, loyalties, and sacrifices that shape families and individuals.
My works include my debut novel, The Weight of First Sons, as well as The Son of Two Fathers, The Price of Staying, The Weight of Becoming, Igbara Isi, Veil of Fortune, The Scent of Signatures, The One Who Chose Her, and The Wolf the Covenant Forgot.
I also write serialized fiction for Pocket FM, where my works include The Girl in Jersey Ten and The Man I Can’t Need.
I write because stories can preserve what history forgets, question what society accepts, and give voice to experiences that are often left unnamed.
Welcome to my world of stories.
